Happy Easter! @ Sunday, April 24, 2011

So, Happy Easter everyone...did you get many eggs? I have eaten far too much chocolate, this month, let alone today. So I really will have to cut back next week month.

Is it just me, or has Easter become a huge thing this year? Walking down the aisle of my local supermarket I was amazed at all the Easter themed objects.

It's not the first time I have had Easter decorations, so this trend isn't that new to me. When I was younger I moved around a lot due to my Dad being in the Army. One of the posts happened to be in Germany. They did the whole Easter Tree thing years ago, and we used to have loads of nifty little decorations, that we would put up every year.

I had an idea/want for an Easter tree, however this was all pretty much rushed due to me taking on far too much during the week.

The end result, a little sparse:


I would of liked to have painted the twigs white, for a really neutral but vibrant look. Had I of had more time, or energy, I would of done so...I'd like to think it still looks nice though. All of the decorations were from HobbyCraft. I love that shop. The felt plant pot holder is adorable! Even more so, because it has the cutest ladybird critters on it.
